Political contributions from registered lobbyists are prohibited by the Los Angeles City Ethics Commission. Turning on this feature will automatically scan the latest list of registered lobbyists after each donation and flag potential matches.
If the scan flags a donor as a potential registered lobbyist you will receive an email with special emojis in the title so that you can double check that donor before accepting the donation.
- Under Account Details scroll down to Election District
- Under Election District select City of Los Angeles
- Click on City of Los Angeles.
- This will automatically turn on that lobbyist check.
